When it comes wearing bold pieces, the statement piece should make the statement.  You can have a simple outfit made spectacular by a large, chunky vintage necklace.   A chunky gold ornate bracelet can also be a nice addition.   Whether you choose silver, gold, or any variety of colors, the key is to be big and bold.    Also works well to pair one chunky statement piece with a companion smaller piece, such as a chunky necklace with earrings that match.   It rarely works to have non-matching chunky pieces, but can always give it a go and see if that is your style.

Vintage can be better

The 1980’s was an era of big and bold, and jewelry of that era did not disappoint.   Many pieces from that era that are big and bold, and most of all unique.  These are pieces that will not be found around anyone else’s neck or on anyone else’s arm.   What else makes a statement by simply wearing a  one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry?    Finding a piece from the era can be a treasure hunt; look in local thrift stores, garage sales, or shop online in the vintage market places.   We have a nice selection in our store.
